"Standard for Student Services," a section of The Public School Act, requires schools to provide accessibility information to parents new to the school division.

At John W. Gunn Middle School, we currently have two entrances which are accessible to all individuals. The main entrance on Harold Ave. has ramp access, as does the entrance off the staff parking lot in the back of the school. Our building is also equipped with an elevator which must be activated with a key that is available from the main office. In addition there are plans to install a lift which would allow access to the Mini-gym for all individuals. There are also plans for the construction of an access ramp off the east end of the building.

The parking lot in the back of the school also has one dedicated Handicapped parking space. This space is located near the rear entrance to the school.
