Welcome to our school library 

Welcome to the library and to our program of information literacy. We believe that every student should have the skills necessary to navigate in today's information-rich society. Determining information needs, recognizing and selecting appropriate resources - whether print or online and managing the information are fundamental skills needed for successful academic research.

Library Hours

Our Library Learning Commons is a place where everyone is a learner, and everyone is a teacher. Staff and students can participate in collaborative learning through inquiry projects and problem-based learning.

Our library is open from 8:50 a.m.- 3:30 p.m.

The library is open from 8:35 - 8:50 a.m. each day for students to exchange books. A sign at the front of the school (flagpole doors) indicate if the library is open, and students enter through those doors.  Students must have books with them and cannot go to their lockers before coming to the library.

Lending Policies

Borrowing Period:           All Grade K – 8 classes are scheduled for library book exchange once per six day cycle.

Number of sign outs:      Kindergarten students may borrow one book at a time.
                                          Gr. 1 – 8 students may borrow two books at a time.
Renewals:                        Students in any grade may renew their item(s). This is usually done during their regular book exchange time.
